> Installing Mobile Partner for Mac OS X

To access the SIM Card

1. IMPORTANT: DO NOT CONNECT THE USB MODEM TO YOUR COMPUTER BEFORE YOU HAVE INSTALLED THE NECESSARY DRIVER
2. Download the driver from HERE
3. Unzip the file attached. Install the correct driver package for your platform (Intel or PowerPC)
4. Connect the USB Modem to your Mac
5. Copy and paste the DataCardApp to your Applications folder:




6. Double click the application to launch it. The following window will be displayed:




7. Enter the correct APN for your service provider:

8. Click Configure. The following window will be displayed:




9. Click close
10. Click on the Apple menu and select System Preferences
11. Select Network
12. A message will be displayed stating that new ports have been detected. Click OK. The Network Preferences window will be displayed:




13. On the PP tab, enter a name for the connection in the Service Provider field. Enter the correct settings for your service provider:



Service Provider:	FREEDOM4 WiFi
Account Name:	Leave blank
Password:	Leave blank
Telephone Number:	*99***1#




14. Click on the Modem tab, the following window will be displayed:




15. In the Modem menu, select HUAWEI Mobile Connect – 3G Modem
16. Untick the option to Wait for dial tone before dialing
17. Click Apply Now
18. Open Internet Connect from the Applications menu:




19. Select HUAWEI Mobile
20. Click the Connect button to connect
