Mike Read, Chief Executive Officer

Mike Read is the CEO of FREEDOM4 Group plc and is responsible for the strategy and management of FREEDOM4.

With over 30 years' experience in the communications and internet sectors, Mike Read has steered companies through organic growth, acquisition and sale phases. Mike enjoyed an extensive career at British Telecom, before moving to the US and joining AOL. He completed a 30-company ISP "roll-up" which was sold to Earthlink in 2000. He returned to the UK in 2000 to run XO Europe - the nucleus of today's FREEDOM4 Group plc.

Richard Cunliffe, Chief Operating Officer

Winner 2008 WBIA Individual Achievement in Wireless Broadband

Richard Cunliffe is responsible for the day to day operations of FREEDOM4 WiFi, including sales and marketing, operations, product development and customer services.

Richard and his brother Adrian were the founders of BOZII Ltd, a global Wi-Fi roaming business which was acquired by FREEDOM4 Group Plc in 2008. Prior to the acquisition Richard was the CEO of BOZII a company which had gained access to over 45,000 hotspots in 88 countries working with leading international incumbents. Richard won an international award for individual achievement for his work in the wireless broadband space over the last 5 years.

Adrian Cunliffe, Chief Technical Officer

Adrian Cunliffe is responsible for all technical developments, product and network strategy. In this role, Adrian evaluates the right infrastructure and delivery partners for the Wi-Fi business.

Adrian and his brother Richard were the founders of BOZII Ltd, a global Wi-Fi roaming business which was acquired by FREEDOM4 Group Plc in 2008. Prior to the acquisition Adrian was the CTO of BOZII a company which had gained access to over 45,000 hotspots in 88 countries working with leading international incumbents. Adrian won an international award for individual achievement for his work in the wireless broadband space over the last 5 years.

Quentin Birchall, Chief Commercial Officer

Quentin Birchall is responsible for sales activities, commercial negotiations and securing and maintaining roaming agreements with Wi-Fi networks for FREEDOM4 WiFi.

Prior to FREEDOM4 WiFi Quentin gained 12 years blue chip experience at Shell in various senior management roles in UK and Europe. He gained ISP and telco market sector experience whilst being Managing Director of Tiscali Business Services and World Online Business Services where he developed multi-channel sales strategy and increased reseller sales.
